Mrs. Tullis graduated from Deepwater High School. She was a homemaker and devoted herself to the care of her family. After her family was grown, Alice went to work as a cook in the Windsor School System, at the elementary and high school, where she served countless meals for hundreds of children, for over 12 years. She made a profession of faith in October 1948 and joined the First Baptist Church, Windsor.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Fritz, Windsor, Mo.; a grandson, Bo Fritz, Marysville, California; a granddaughter, Kelly Fritz, Blue Springs, Mo.; 5 great-grandchildren, James Fritz, Kristen Fritz, Sandra Fritz, Tabitha Fritz and Kristen Fritz; a brother, Ernest Smith, Deepwater, Mo., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. In addition to her husband, Alice was preceded in death by a son, Jim Tullis and a son-in-law, Ray Fritz.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 19, 11:00 a.m., at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Durward Scott, officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
